"This weekend has been a lot about letting go and also theres been this theme of grounding. Many of the people here are teachers themselves and its this amazing opportunity to come together as students.....to absorb knowledge & perspectives and to be among this beautiful ancient mountain range and just ground into ourselves and into our community."

-Lindsey Michelle (attendee 2017)

The Location

Since the late 1800s, Asheville, NC has been a mecca for visitors seeking a mountain escape. It may be the field of quartz under the streets, or maybe the way your individual expression is warmly welcomed. Whatever draws you into this vibrant city with a bohemian spirit, Asheville is a vortex for visionaries, poets and explorers.

With many nicknames and accolades (Beer City, Paris of the South, 25 Best Cities to Spend a Weekend, Best Outdoor Towns, Best Foodie Destinations), our little city is no longer a well-kept secret. But that doesn’t tarnish its magic.

Asheville’s rich architectural legacy, thriving arts, music, food and beer scenes, along with a relaxed mountain vibe, will linger in your heart and mind long after you leave.

About The Owners

Amanda Hale & Sara LaStella

Amanda and Sara are the local yoga teachers and lightworkers behind the scenes. Wanting to create something BIG for their beloved Asheville community and its visitors, they have pulled from their unique backgrounds and the deep wells of their hearts toward two goals: To manifest a diverse yoga experience that welcomes everyone equally and to redirect yoga’s arrow back to compassionate activism.

Amanda is the Yang to Sara’s Yin. Amanda moved to Asheville in 2011, Sara in 2013, and the two became instant soul friends through their local yoga studio. Sara brings her organizational skills from her background in event planning that has always been rooted in bridging the gap between yoga and activism. Amanda brings her passion to connect communities to think bigger, which stem from her past life as a Registered Nurse and her belief that this short, sweet life is meant to be celebrated.
